External Coating Pipe

BAOLAI STEEL offers external caoting services include FBE (fused epoxy), 2LPE, 3LPE, 2LPP, 3LPP, concrete weight and insulation coated pipe. They provide a barrier between the metal of the pipe and the environment, protecting the pipe from corrosion and other damage.
Coating services provided by BAOLAI STEEL have resulted in cost savings ranging from millions to billions of dollars in the construction of numerous oil, gas and water transmission projects. That’s why corrosion-resistant coatings for pipelines are critical to pipeline owners, who can’t afford transmission outages due to pipeline corrosion.

External Coating Pipe Type

From liquid epoxy resin, single-layer FBE to cement lining corrosion protection, BAOLAI not only provides a safe and pollution-free pipeline environment for transporting liquids, but also improves the corrosion resistance of the pipeline. BAOLAI stands out among internal pipe coating companies with profesional solutions.

External Liquid

The liquid epoxy pipeline coating process is very easy. The chemical reaction between the epoxy resin and hardener or catalyst liquid epoxy produces, which transforms the two into the hard laye. You can apply epoxy by hand or spray after mixing.

The use of liquid epoxy usually in this area welds size cover, fittings, valves, as well as for the rehabilitation field of short parts of the tubes. He also works as an additional layer of protection at the front of the soil into the air, where underground plumbing meets the atmosphere.

External FBE

Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) coated carbon steel pipes are widely used in the oil and gas and water/wastewater industries. They help protect the assets of these industries from corrosion. Apart from the fact that the coating is non-toxic, epoxy coated steel gas pipes have a smooth surface that is easy to clean and maintain.

ARO(Dual-layer Abrasion Resistant Outer Coating FBE)

Dual-layer Abrasion Resistant Outer Coating (ARO) FBE systems provide excellent protection for pipelines in a variety of service applications, including directional drilling and abrasion-resistant roadway and stream crossings, resistance to mechanical handling, and high-temperature service in humid environments.

2PE/2PP

The structure of 2LPE coatings for pipelines: the first layer is an adhesive (AD) and the second layer is polyethylene (PE). The two materials are mixed with each other and each layer is the same thickness as the 3LPE coating. This provides first-class protection against corrosion, especially at high temperatures. 2LPP is the same process as 2LPE, except that the second layer is polypropylene (PP).

3PE/3PP

3-Layer Polyethylene (3LPE) offers superior protection against corrosion compared to 2LPE.The FBE layer provides an effective barrier against corrosion, while the PE layer resists water penetration and mechanical damage.

3PP coating is composed of epoxy powder base layer, middle layer adhesive, and outer layer polypropylene (PP) sheath. 3PP coating has all the advantages of 3PE coating and significantly improves its operating temperature performance.

Concret Weight Coating

Concrete weight coating pipe (CWC pipe), is a steel pipe that has been externally coated with concrete. The concrete coating consists of a mixture of cement, aggregates, reinforced steel mesh, and water.

Concrete weight coatings provide reliable negative buoyancy and protect against harsh environments and possible mechanical damage to pipes and their thermal insulation coatings during handling, transportation and pipe installation.

 Insulation Coated Pipe

High-temperature prefabricated direct-buried thermal insulation steel pipe is a direct-buried prefabricated thermal insulation steel pipe with good thermal insulation performance, safety and reliability, and low construction cost.

The insulation material is rigid polyurethane, which has good mechanical properties and thermal insulation properties. Insulated steel pipes are widely used in chemical pipeline insulation projects such as liquid and gas transmission pipe networks, petroleum, chemical, central heating and heating pipe networks, central air-conditioning ventilation pipes, and municipal engineering.
