Fire Sprinkler Pipe

Pipes are the core component of fixed fire protection systems. Pipes carry and distribute the extinguishing agent (water, gas, foam solution, etc.) from the source to the discharge devices installed within the protected area.

Fire sprinkler pipe is one of the most important components of a fire sprinkler fire protection system, and is usually used in conjunction with trunk piping and sprinkler heads.

Baolai’s fire protection sprinkler pipe has a FBE, black, galvanized coating to ensure a clean, corrosion-resistant surface.

Welded and seamless pipes are accepted when produced according to the following Pipe Standards:

European Standards: EN 10255, EN 10216, EN 10217.

ASME Standards: ASTM A53, ASTM A795, ASTM A135, ASTM A106.

Fire sprinkler Pipe

Fire sprinkler pipe refers to the piping materials used in fire fighting, conveying water, gas or other media for fire fighting.

All over the world, fire incidents pose a significant concern, highlighting the importance of understanding fire-fighting pipes for creating a safe environment. This text delves into the types of fire fighting piping that are common and their applications and the services we support. We explore the characteristics and suitability of red epoxy pipes, red painted pipes, black iron pipes, and galvanized pipes, allowing buyers to make informed decisions based on specific building requirements.

Baolai Steel Group manufactures the industry’s most complete line of steel fire sprinkler pipe. It’s all readily available — from Schedule 10 to our proprietary solutions, with a range of coatings and end finishes to choose from, including threading, swaging and grooving.

Types of Fire Sprinkler Pipes

Red FBE Pipes

These tubes are made from seamless or ERW steel tubing with excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and a smooth surface. Due to the more environmentally friendly and excellent performance of fusion bonded epoxy powder coating, it is used for most of the steel pipes and fittings within the fire protection system and has become our hottest selling product.

Red Painted Pipes

These pipes are typically made of schedule 40 steel and are painted red to indicate their use in fire protection systems. They are known for their durability, resistance to high pressure and corrosion. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations and are commonly used in commercial and residential buildings because red pipes are also as easy to maintain as any other fire protection pipe.

Hot Dipped Galvanized Pipe

These steel pipes are coated with a layer of zinc to prevent corrosion. They are extremely durable and have excellent rust resistance, making them ideal for outdoor firefighting applications. Galvanized pipe is commonly used in sprinkler systems, hydrants and standpipes.

Black Iron Pipe

Black iron pipes are made from mild steel and are another popular choice for fire protection systems. They offer excellent strength and heat resistance for high temperature environments. Black iron pipes are typically used in industrial environments where they may be exposed to harsh conditions.
